Red Sea / Sharm el Sheikh / Ras Bob

  Description

The name Ras Bob is not know by the natives and is also not possible to find on nautical maps. This dive site was coined by various dive instructors at Sharm el Sheikh as a tribute to the underwater cameraman Bob Johnson. This reef is suitable for persons of every dive level and usually has weak currents. This reef is connected to the southernmost part of Ras Nasrani.

The dive moves in depths between 15 and 20 meters. There are many small bays with light coloured sand floors, of which you will see in depths of 4 and 8 meters, numerous small gullies and caves. On the sand of these inlets often rest Bluespotted stingrays and Crocodilefish, whereby the numerous hard and soft corals will also tempt you to stop.
