The name Jackfish Alley derives from the white sandy road that runs between the coral ledge bordering the coast and a parallel satellite reef, in which Mackerel and other predators frequently linger. This dive is usually carried out as a drift dive. After descending
to approximately 5 meters you will immediately see the entrance to the first
cave, which penetrates the reef for about 40 meters. |

Diving further, with the reef on your right, you will come to a large coral
outcrop, at approximately 14 meters' depth, where vis-à-vis another cave lies that runs steeply upwards and has its exit at 6 meters. Diving further, in a southwest direction, you will meet the second coral outcrop, which is heavily overgrown with with corals and inhabited by
a colony of Glassfish. Once again, continue to proceed southwest, past a zone rich in madrepores, you will come across the beginning of a sandy alley at18-20 meters`depth. In this area Whitetip reef
sharks, Manta rays, and aside from the Jackfish, Triggerfish as well as Bluespotted
stingrays, have often been spotted.
